I tried some new technique in this background - how you might noticed ;D
Photopainting is fun <3 I build that background out of abou 25 photos and painted it.

Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactThis is my first critique, so I'll try to make it a good one.
Firstly, you've inspired me to try photopainting. I like the effect of combining of the drawn dragon with a realistic background. It makes it look like a cartoon character drawn into a live action scene. I like how you've made it so the light source of the background is the same for the dragon, making it "agree" with the photopainted scene.
Your choice of color makes the dragon look kind of shiny. I'm not sure if this was intentional, but it makes the dragon and his book kind of stand out from the background, immediately leading the viewer's eye towards it. The book he's holding looks a little "faded" though, as if the colors are muted. This could be intentional, but I think the colors on the book should be a little more saturated (just a little) to bring it further into the foreground.
Overall I like this picture and I hope my critique was helpful.
